Byronbilly Superski History

My name is Billy Dalton and i have been riding waveskis-surfskis ever since i was a young boy. I built my first surfski when i was 11 years old in 1958 with a friend.It was built to my design,was made of wood,,and was hollow inside and surfed well.

I have been designing and building waveskis-surfskis ever since.The Design Concept behind the current model started in 1982 and has been refined over many models ever since,refineing the shape each time.                                                                                                                  The first model of this shape was a 5’4 tailrider DESIGNED AS A SUPERSKI  FROM THE START,not as a sit on surfboard.  Design Criteria was simple                                                                                

          1     SPEED

2    COMFORT and  STABILITY  combined with DURABILITY

         3      MANOVERABILITY with EASE of HANDLING                   in all   CONDITIONS                                                                                             

I surfed this superski ski for 10 years,in all conditions, and still have it.
